I thought someone might have a source on resonably priced mattress pads. Thanks

Try these.... you can search on "RV replacement cushions" or "replacement foam" on any search engine.

Good luck.

i have a yuma and it should be the same. my beds were 48 inches intead of the 54 inch ramada mattresses. fleetwood makes a perfect replacement for the other type of popup campers (coleman). they are really nice good material, vinyl bottoms, good foam, zippered with a front flap that covers the metal edge of the bed , all for 110 each. go to the nearest dealer and ask for the size you need . unfortunately none of their sizes fit the ramada. these are a true steal at 110 each believe me when you price covers alone they can be near that.cushions are a real problem unless you use the board method or can sew, but i prefer the cording so i gotta pay out the rump for em. camp on !!!! _________________ "GOD PUT ME ON EARTH TO ACCOMPLISH A CERTAIN NUMBER OF THINGS, RIGHT NOW I AM SO FAR BEHIND, I WILL LIVE FOREVER" andy capp cartoon RICK 77 RAMADA 77 YUMA 2000 GMC 4X4

Rick,

Was this $110 price at a local dealer that you visited? Was it on a website? Please let me know how and where and what information on this place? Am I understanding correctly that there are only 48 inch sizes and not 54 inch sizes from what you found? Please post some additional information.

Thanks,

they were purchased from my local fleetwood dealer they are 48 x 72 and fit perfectly in the smaller bed ends. jayco has a 54x79 mattress in their eagle model. i am going to buy replacements for this size and cut the length to 73 and resew the end back up . should work fine. i am also going to go to the dealers and see about replacement jayco or fleetwood cushions , and see if they will work as a replacement...my particular dealer , after telling him what i was actually doing he waived the shipping charges ($30 ). they were very friendly . _________________ "GOD PUT ME ON EARTH TO ACCOMPLISH A CERTAIN NUMBER OF THINGS, RIGHT NOW I AM SO FAR BEHIND, I WILL LIVE FOREVER" andy capp cartoon RICK 77 RAMADA 77 YUMA 2000 GMC 4X4

I have searched everyplace for good quality foam, for good mattresses, for custom mattresses. My search has let me to few good choices.

Then another option presented itself. A friend told me that they were online at the JC Penny website and found some great foam deals. I went and looked and they have (I like extra firm) extra firm foam that is 3 inches thick and 52 x 73 for $49.99.

My old foam is soft and in bad shape. Custom mattresses are $200 and up. I have not been lucky like Rick and found any for $110. Soooo in the meantime, I am looking at replacing the foam with some good stuff from J C Penny and putting a fitted sheet over it for the time being. The search continues.

On my 1973 Ramada, BOTH bed ends are 48 x 72. I got the extra firm foam from JC Penney and it works great. I had to cut it to fit. What years are there bed ends that are 52 x 72??? Mine are only 48 x 72. Finally got to go on our maiden voyage this last weekend to Tyler State Park and now this weekend off to see the fall colors and camping near the Talimena Drive in southeastern Oklahoma. _________________ Alan Restoring a 1973 Ramada
